Do not ask for general thoughts on a large delivery. Ask reviewers to confirm the agreed criteria, flag a specific concern or choose between a few options. Smaller prompts lead to clearer feedback.

Set a review window

Agree on the response date before sending the work. A short window respects the freelancer’s schedule and gives the client enough room to collect internal input without leaving the project open indefinitely.
