Terms of service

These terms explain the basic rules for using Compenset and participating in a protected project payment.

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This page is a plain-language summary for the Compenset product. It should be reviewed and adapted for your jurisdiction before launch.

Using Compenset

You may use Compenset to create, fund, receive, and manage project payment agreements in accordance with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for providing accurate account and agreement information.

You must not use the product for unlawful activity, fraud, sanctions evasion, or any transaction that would put other users or the network at risk.

Your agreements and payments

Compenset helps participants document an agreement and interact with a non-custodial payment flow. The people entering an agreement remain responsible for the scope, quality, delivery, and commercial terms of their work.

Before authorizing a wallet transaction, review the amount, destination, and network carefully. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible once confirmed.

Wallets and security

You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet, recovery phrase, private keys, and connected devices. Compenset will not ask for your recovery phrase or private key.

Tell us promptly if you believe your account or wallet connection has been compromised. We may limit access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

Fees

Applicable platform fees are disclosed in the product before you fund an agreement. Network fees are confirmed by your wallet and can vary with network conditions.

Disputes and service changes

If a project needs review, participants should provide accurate and relevant information through the available dispute process. We may update the service, these terms, or operational safeguards as the product evolves, subject to required notice where applicable.
